1000 Seats Program

What is 1000 Seats?

With the financial support of TD Bank and their Accessing the Arts Program, 1000 Seats is a new pilot project launched as part of the Grand Theatre’s London Proud initiative. 1000 Seats will offer ten seats for every performance in the Spriet Stage Series to first-time theatre goers.

Londoners who have never been to the Grand – for any reason – are welcome to access tickets. Working with a variety of local partners including businesses, community agencies, not-for-profit groups, corporate partners, veterans groups, and our college and university partners, we are opening our doors to share the 17/18 season with over 1000 new faces.

Seats will be released two weeks prior to the first performance of each production.

For more information or to book seats under the 1000 Seats program, please contact a patron services representative in our Box Office at 519-672-8800 or boxoffice [at] grandtheatre [dot] com

What’s the Catch?

There is no catch. This is a true give-away of 10 seats for every performance on the Spriet Stage (except for Student Matinees).

How it works

Anyone wishing to access these tickets can call or email the box office to book: 519-672-8800 or email boxoffice [at] grandtheatre [dot] com.

Frequently Asked Questions

Exchanges, No-Shows, Cancellations

To make the program work successfully, we cannot offer any exchanges once tickets have been assigned for a specific performance.

The seats provided by box office cannot be exchanged for other seats. The best-in-house seats will be provided as of noon (evening performances) or 11 AM (matinee performances) on that day.

May I book more than 1 ticket?

Yes. However, names of all guests must be provided to the Box Office at the time of booking. All guests may be required to produce identification at time of ticket pick-up and/or entrance.

May I tell my friends and family?

Absolutely! We will rely on you and all of our theatre patrons to help us spread the word about this program!

May I bring my children?

Yes. Children are more than welcome to attend. You may access information about the productions online.

Accessibility

The assigned seats to this program may not be able to accommodate all patrons with mobility issues. Please identify at the time of booking and we will make every effort to accommodate all needs.
