COVID Protocols

Following broad consultation with patrons, industry partners, members of the Board of Directors, artists, and local health officials, effective May 1, 2022 the Grand Theatre will no longer require proof of vaccination for all guests attending the Theatre.

Please be advised that exceptions may be made at the request of promoters, touring artists, or other partners.

Patrons are advised to review all communications carefully before visiting the Grand or to call our Box Office to confirm vaccination requirements, at: 519-672-8800.

For the continued health and safety of our patrons and London community, and based on the feedback of a vast majority of Grand audience members, via an April 2022 survey, we will continue to require masks to be worn within our theatres and during all performances until further notice.

Bars and concessions will remain open pre-show and at intermission. However, food and drink will not be allowed in the theatre to ensure that masks remain on at all times when seated.

The Grand will also maintain its ongoing stringent cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

Mask Protocols and Bar/Beverage Service

Masks that cover nose, mouth and chin must be worn at all times in the theatre, except when eating or drinking in the lobby spaces. Bars and concessions will be open prior to each performance and at intermission. However, no food or drink will be permitted to be consumed while seated in performance spaces. Masks must be worn at all times while seated inside the performance spaces.

EXCHANGes and Credits

Patrons feeling unwell prior to their scheduled performance are asked to call the box office to reschedule their tickets or obtain a credit towards a future performance. Credits do not expire and may be used for 2022-23 season or beyond.

Please contact our Box Office 519-672-8800 to reschedule seats within new run dates or to obtain a credit. The Box Office is currently open Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM for both phone calls and walk-up transactions.

Tickets may also be returned as a donation to the theatre.  A charitable tax receipt of the full value of tickets will be issued.

Other Safety Protocols

Cleaning and sanitization
Hand sanitization stations will continue to be offered on all floors
The Grand will maintain its ongoing stringent cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

Contactless Ticketing
The Grand Theatre is putting greater efforts in place to support contactless ticketing. Available options include presenting your e-tickets on your mobile device, or using Print-At-Home tickets if you have access to a printer. The Box Office will remain open during regular hours if you need assistance printing your tickets.

Arriving at the theatre
Please plan to arrive early to avoid last minute line-ups before entering the theatre. Our Front of House team will check your proof of vaccination and scan your ticket. It is recommended that patrons have all necessary documentation available at the point of entry.
