About the Performers

Adam Cawley

Adam Cawley is an alumnus of the world famous Second City Mainstage, the Just for Laughs in Montreal and is also a three-time Canadian Comedy Award Winner including Best Male Improviser in Canada.

Adam is known for his roles on: St. Denis Medical (NBC) Ghosts (CBS) Baroness Von Sketch Show (IFC - recurring) Workin' Moms (Netflix - recurring). Other credits include Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Ghostwriter (Apple TV) Odd Squad (PBS Kids) and performing sketch comedy for The NFL on FOX!

He was a staff writer on the International Emmy Award Winning Workin’ Moms. He created CBC’s first digital comedy “Body Buds” and two seasons of GUIDANCE about three inept Guidance Councillors. He was also a staff writer for George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.

Just before the pandemic Adam was cast in a new improv television pilot project from the creators of Whose Line is it Anyway?  His improv podcast, The Backline, won the National Podcast Award for Best Educational Series and allows him to tour the world performing comedy.

Adam is currently a performer and producer at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles.
 

Rob Norman

Rob Norman is a Canadian Screen Award-winning actor, director, improviser and author of Improvising Now: A Practical Guide to Modern Improv. He has worked for Second City as director of The National Touring Company, Second at Sea, and he currently serves as the Department Head of the Longform Program at the Second City Training Centre. As an improviser, Rob performs with MANTOWN, RN and Cawls, and Filthy: The No Rules Improv Cabaret. Rob currently stars on the CityTV sketch comedy series Sunnyside.
