The Grand Theatre operates on the traditional lands and territories of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Lunaapewak. We value the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations, and all of the Original Peoples of Turtle Island (also known as North America), and acknowledge the traditional lands upon which we live, work and tell stories together.

PRODUCTION DATES

FIRST REHEARSAL (LONDON): December 15^th, 2025 – Please note there will be an unpaid hiatus week between December 22^nd - December 28^th.
FIRST PREVIEW (LONDON): January 20^th, 2026
OPENING (LONDON): January 23^rd, 2026
CLOSING (LONDON): February 7^th, 2026
 

AUDITION DATES

Auditions will be taking place on April 28 & April 29 in Toronto, ON.
 

AVAILABLE ROLES

KENNETH – (Mid 30s, Black, Male) – A gentle soul with a vivid imagination. Earnest, shy, and caring, Kenneth is haunted by anxiety and the inability to take risks.

BERT – (Mid 30s, Black, Male) – Kenneth’s longtime friend. Charismatic and Optimistic. Encourages Kenneth to embrace newfound opportunities.

SAM/CLAY – (50s-60s, White, Male) – Sam is Kenneth’s boss at the bookstore. Clay is a compassionate bank manager who wants the best for his employees. This track also includes the role LE POUSSELET BARTENDER

CORINNA – (20s-40s, Black, Female) – A friendly bartender who forms an unexpected bond with Kenneth. Kind, straightforward, deeply perceptive. This track also includes the roles of WALLY’S WAITER, and BANK CUSTOMERS
 

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Please submit via this Google form: https://forms.gle/VjARH1adNx52FRkr6. Please only submit once. Priority will be given to Equity artists and they will be seen first on the audition days.

The deadline for submissions to be received is FRIDAY, APRIL 18^TH, 2025.
