- Can I choose my dates?
You can choose your day of the week, as well as performance time (if there are two shows in one day). Subscribers are guaranteed the same seats for each of their performance dates. Should you be unable to attend a scheduled performance, you can take advantage of hassle-free exchanges, one of the most-used subscriber benefits. Simply call the Box Office at 519.672.8800 before your performance to exchange your seats to another date.
- I have a subscription, but I'd like to add seats for family or friends to join me for a specific performance. Can I do that?
Yes! You may add-on additional single tickets for any production in the subscription series at a subscriber discount of 15% off. Please contact the Grand Theatre Box Office to get started: 519.672.8800.
- How (and when) will I receive my subscription tickets?
There are two ways to receive your subscription tickets: Mobile Tickets or Printed Tickets.
Subscribers who select Mobile Ticket delivery, will receive their subscription tickets (as well as any add-ons) to their Grand Theatre Mobile Wallet by end of June 2025. Subscribers who do not select Mobile Tickets, will automatically receive printed tickets in the mail by July 2025. Any orders after that date will be mailed as processed within a week of booking.
If you would like to transfer your printed tickets to Mobile Tickets so that you can easily access from your mobile device or send tickets to friends, please contact the Grand Theatre Box Office at 519.672.8800.- What seats are best for me?
For Spriet Stage subscriptions: Grand Theatre's 839 seat Spriet Stage is known for being one of the most intimate-feeling large-scale theatres in Canada. In short: there isn't a bad seat in the house! However, some seats serve certain needs better than others.
Accessible seating is located on our Orchestra Level (lower level of the theatre). Please contact the Box Office at 519.672.8800 to arrange seating that suits your needs.
Price-conscious audiences may prefer to sit in B-zone seating, with subscription prices starting at $210.12 for 6 shows (approx. $35 per ticket). Subscriptions are sold in B, A, and A+ seating zones, and pricing varies by zone, and whether the performance is a preview or regular performance. See Seating Chart above to compare.
Balcony Level seating (the upper level of the theatre) is great for a wide view of the stage, whereas Orchestra Level (lower level) seating is ideal for those who prefer closer sightlines. The Balcony level seating requires the use of stairs to access most rows of seating.
Box seating is available on both sides of the theatre. Those seated in Box seats enjoy a prominent (and semi-private) experience for up to 4 patrons. Depending on the production, they may also experience occasional sightline obstructions. Please contact the Box Office a 519.672.8800 to learn more.
For Auburn Stage subscriptions: The Auburn Stage is general admission seating, and patrons will select their seat upon arrival to the show. We encourage Auburn Series subscribers to arrive early for their scheduled performance to have the best selection of available seats.
- What happens if I can’t make it to one of my assigned performance dates?
Call the Grand Theatre Box Office at 519.672.8800 to exchange your seats for another performance - hassle-free! Seats must be the same price as your subscription seats to avoid being charged a difference.
- I'm going away for the winter, and need to miss a couple of shows. What should I do?
Tickets are transferrable. You may transfer them to a friend or family member to be used in your place.
Alternatively, you can call the Grand Theatre Box Office at 519.672.8800 to transfer the value of your unused tickets to a tax deductible donation.
Still need assistance? Contact the Box Office at 519.672.8800 to exchange your unused seats to another production in the subscription series.
- I attended my first performance and I don't like my seats and/or performance day. Can I change these details even if the season has already started?
Yes... but only while supplies last! Please call the Grand Theatre Box Office at 519.672.8800 and an agent will assist you with the requested changes to your 2025/26 subscription. Please note: if your newly selected seats are priced higher than your original seats, you may incur a charge for the difference.
- Do I need to pay for my subscription all at once?
No! Any order containing a subscription is eligible to be processed via an interest-free payment plan: either monthly or 50/50. Payment plans are processed either monthly (amortized from the time of purchase through May 2026), or 50% at the time of purchase and 50% on August 15, 2025. Payment plans cannot be purchased online. Please call the Grand Theatre Box Office at 519.672.8800 to get set up!
- Can I cancel my subscription?
Unfortunately, subscriptions are final sale. If you cannot use your subscriptions, there are a few options available to you:
- Subscription tickets are transferrable! You may consider giving your tickets to friends or family as gifts.
- Donate back your subscription as a tax deductible donation to the Grand Theatre
