Subsidized Student Matinee Ticket Option

If your class or school have a financial barrier in accessing regularly-priced student matinee tickets ($25/student), there are subsidized tickets available.

  • Tickets at price points lower than $25 are available in limited numbers.
  • Please contact Education Manager, Breanne Ritchie, at britchie [at] or 519-672-9030 x224 with the show and date(s) you are interested in, and number of tickets required.
  • We're proud to help ensure your students have an impactful live performance experience, regardless of financial limitations

  1. A 20% deposit will secure your booking until final payment.
  2. Full payment and final numbers must be received 30 days prior to the performance date.
  3. Payment may be made by cheque (payable to Grand Theatre), credit card, debit, e-transfer, or cash.
  4. Grand Theatre DOES NOT REFUND TICKET ORDERS. In the event that a school group is unable to travel to the theatre due to inclement weather, the theatre will make every effort to find an alternate performance on another date for the school to attend. If an alternate date cannot be found, the school/group will receive a credit for future Student Matinee performance. Credits do NOT apply to decreased numbers from the original contract if fully paid.
  5. Grand Theatre reserves the right to limit the number of seats available for group orders.
  6. Grand Theatre will cancel any orders not fully paid by the date specified on the contract and a credit will be provided to school to use for future performance.
